We are currently hiring a Public Area Attendant in Rogers , AR for a reputable hospitality client. This position offers a pay rate of $15.00 per hour . As a Public Area Attendant, you will be a vital part of the guest experience by ensuring that the hotel's public spaces and guest rooms are consistently clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining hotel guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities Removing used and unused linens and towels from rooms Disinfecting all high-touch surfaces and unused amenities Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures Replacing burned-out light bulbs Remaking beds with fresh linens Replenishing room supplies such as toiletries, drinking glasses, and writing materials Emptying trash cans and transporting waste to designated disposal areas Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies Using only approved cleaning chemicals and proper cleaning techniques Stocking and maintaining supply closets and room attendant carts Keeping all work areas clean and organized Sorting laundry items by fabric type, color, and soil level Operating laundry machines and using proper chemical amounts for washing and pressing Making routine rounds through public areas to ensure tidiness and sanitation Participating in deep cleaning and preventive maintenance programs using power equipment when required Observing and reporting any damage, lost items, or safety hazards to supervisors Assisting in training new team members as needed Following all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel setting Prior customer service experience is a plus High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs regularly Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for long periods Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
