We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Homeschool Teacher to provide full-time all year-round education and support to an 8-year-old child in Summerville SC for the upcoming year (2025-26) Second Grade. As a Homeschool Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in various subjects and ensuring the child's educational development.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the child's individual needs.

- Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects.

- Assess the child's progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.

- Accompany the child to local events and group activities.

- Transport the child safely to and from various locations.

- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and alignment of educational goals.

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student performance.

- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and techniques.

*Requirements:*

- Bachelor's degree in education or and active certification from a state's Department of Education.

- Proven experience as a homeschool teacher or in a similar teaching role.

- Strong knowledge of elementary education curriculum and instructional methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A valid driver's license with a clean record (a vehicle will be provided).

- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to suit the child's individual learning needs.

- Proficiency in utilizing technology for educational purposes.

- CPR and First Aid certification.

- FBI Background Check, State Police Background Check.

*Compensation and Benefits:*

- Starting pay of $35 per hour.
