Location: Mt. Pleasant, SC Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $16-$18/hour, based on experience About Us: We are a Christ-centered preschool committed to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of young children. Position Overview: We are seeking a caring, flexible, and dependable Floater Teacher to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting classrooms throughout the day, covering breaks, assisting teachers, and maintaining a smooth daily routine for our students. The ideal candidate has a heart for young children, a love for Jesus, and a willingness to serve wherever needed. Key Responsibilities: Assist lead teachers in classrooms with daily activities and supervision Provide classroom coverage during teacher breaks and absences Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment Interact positively with children, families, and staff Follow lesson plans and daily schedules as needed Model Christian values and behavior consistent with the school's mission Support transitions between activities, lunch, nap time, and dismissal Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience working with children (preferably in a preschool setting) Flexibility to work with different age groups, from infants to pre-K A passion for working with children in a faith-based environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to pass background checks and meet SC DSS childcare requirements Preferred: Early Childhood Education coursework or certification CPR/First Aid certified Benefits: Supportive Christian work environment Professional development opportunities Paid holidays and time off (after probationary period) Opportunities for growth within the school
