Duties

The Associate Teacher works with a partner to support development through positive guidance and play-based learning activities. This position is perfect for those looking to maintain a healthier work/home life balance by keeping their afternoons free! PIV is open during the school year only, September-June, and follows the Amherst public school calendar (SAU39) for holidays and vacation weeks.

Requirements

Minimum of 9 credits required in ECE, elementary education, or a child development field, and at least 1 year of experience in a childcare or classroom setting.

Nice To Haves

Interested candidates with less than 9 credits may be considered to fill this posting as an Assistant Teacher, with an adjustment in responsibilities and compensation.
