The Little Village Preschool has two teacher positions currently open. We are growing and need more staff for our preschool classrooms.

We are searching for a person passionate about helping each child reach their personal developmental goals and have fun along the way. Our teachers are specifically chosen because of their dedication to meeting developmental, educational, emotional needs of each child alongside the parents. Each member of our staff is required to meet the qualifications set by the state of California, Community Care Licensing.

TLVP believes in creating play- based opportunities for children explore & learn. We are looking for candidates who love what they do, and engage with the kids.

We have a part- time or full-time positions available for the right candidate. The positions are 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. (Hours will be determined by the needs of the Center).

Each teacher is required to meet the following requirements:

\*Have at least the minimum required Early Childhood Education Units required by Community Care Licensing to be considered a Childcare Provider.

\*Have a Criminal and Fingerprint Background Clearance.

\*Pass a pre-employment Physical and T.B.Test.

\*At least 3 previous employment references.

\*Speak and write clearly in English.

\*Experience in a Childcare Center.

\*Work well with a team of teachers

\*Prepare Curriculum that is age appropriate for your classroom age group.

\*Be able to work collaboratively with other teachers, and be a team player.
