About the Role
As a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Stratford School, you’ll play a vital role in preparing children aged 4 to 5 for the transition to kindergarten. You’ll lead a warm, engaging classroom where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Stratford’s balanced curriculum blends academic readiness in literacy, math, and science with creative exploration through art, music, and specialty language instruction. Our Pre-K teachers nurture each child’s curiosity while supporting the development of essential 21st-century skills like collaboration, problem-solving, and communication.

What You Bring
12 semester or 18 quarter units in Early Childhood Education (including coursework in child development, child/family/community, and curriculum), or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development
A passion for early education, patience, and a joyful, compassionate teaching approach
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred: Previous teaching experience in preschool or early childhood setting
