We are currently accepting applications for a Teacher Assistant in our Primary Community to join the team at Northwoods Montessori School. This is for the 2025-2026 school year. Position: Teacher Assistant Requirement: Experience working with this age group - 3 to 6 years of age Compensation : Based on experience

Job Type: Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Duties

We are seeking an Assistant that is flexible, dependable, eager to learn about Montessori, and loves working with children ages 3 to 6 in a variety of ways: recess, assisting with snack and lunch transitions, supporting nappers, and working with children in Aftercare/Extended Day. Must also be willing to receive feedback form the Lead Teacher and Director of School and be open to learning about the Montessori Approach to Education.

Requirements

Dependable Transportation Punctual Fluent English Minimum of 2 years of work experience with this age group in a classroom setting Will abide by our dress/attire requirements Open to learning about Montessori
