We’re seeking warm, energetic, and adaptable Preschool Substitute Teachers to support our dedicated team when staff coverage is needed. What You’ll Do As a substitute teacher, you’ll step into classrooms and help create a safe, joyful learning experience by:
Implementing lesson plans and maintaining a positive classroom environment
Supervising students with care, attention, and kindness
Supporting classroom routines and reinforcing daily schedules
Maintaining the classroom’s organization and welcoming appearance
Building strong, respectful relationships with students and staff
What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Completion of 12 semester or 18 quarter units in Early Childhood Education (including child development, family/community, and curriculum) or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development
Prior teaching experience with preschool or pre-K students (preferred)
A patient and caring nature, with a strong desire to support young children
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
