Pay Range: $15.00 – $20.00/hour (based on region, education, and experience)

We are seeking dedicated Lead Teachers who are excited to shape young minds while growing professionally in a supportive, innovative setting.

As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in planning and delivering engaging lessons based on our developmentally appropriate curriculum. Your work will encourage each child’s growth in emotional, physical, cognitive, and social areas. You will also:

• Create and maintain a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with Florida’s Early Learning and Developmental Standards.

• Prepare children for VPK and kindergarten readiness using a play-based approach.

• Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers and Classroom Aides.

• Maintain strong, positive communication with parents through regular updates and conferences.

• Monitor children's progress and document observations in our digital Classroom Management System.

• Ensure health, hygiene, and safety standards are followed at all times.

• Collaborate with the school leadership team to support classroom goals and school-wide success.

✔ A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development
✔ High school diploma or GED (required)
✔ Must meet Florida DCF Lead Teacher Requirements, including:

• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

• 45 hours of DCF-mandated training (or willingness to complete within required timeframe)

• Minimum 6 months of experience working in a licensed early childhood program
  ✔ Strong classroom management and communication skills
  ✔ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical activities associated with daily child care routines
  ✔ Must pass all local and state background checks and meet DCF licensing requirements
