Beanstalk Academy seeks a dedicated and passionate Preschool Floater to join our team. Position Summary The Preschool Floater at Beanstalk Academy plays a vital role in supporting the daily classroom operations by assisting lead teachers and classroom staff across multiple age groups (infants to preschoolers). This position ensures consistency and flexibility in coverage, contributing to a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Key Responsibilities Provide support in various classrooms as assigned by the Director throughout the day

Follow lesson plans and classroom routines established by the lead teacher

Supervise children at all times and ensure a safe and healthy learning environment

Support with diapering, toileting, handwashing, and meal/snack routines as needed

Assist in implementing educational activities that promote development in key domains (social, emotional, physical, and cognitive)

Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and spaces

Assist with transition periods such as arrival, departure, nap time, and outdoor play

Follow all Beanstalk Academy policies and procedures including OCFS regulations

Exhibit professionalism, patience, and strong communication with children, families, and staff

Be responsive to classroom needs and flexible with scheduling as emergencies or absences arise

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required

CDA, Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Prior experience working with young children in a licensed child care setting

Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills

Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups

Must pass all required background checks and meet health requirements per state licensing regulations
