PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHER

CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled PAY RATE: $13.10 - $15.72 per hour (depending on qualifications) SCHEDULE: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 9:00 am - 11:45 am Monday - Friday: 12:45 pm - 3:15 pm DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to coordinate and teach lesson plans and teach basic preschool curriculum. Create a fun environment and incorporate structured, educational programs that assist in children's development. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching 3-5 year-old children. Developing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively and supervising staff to enhance the Preschool learning environment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with children and preparing lesson plans. Work well with pre-school age children and other staff members. Must be dependable and exact in following procedures of the preschool. Must be 18 years old or older.
