Job Summary
As a Pre-K Teacher at Celebree School, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 4-5 years old. You will foster each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, preparing them for kindergarten and lifelong learning. This role requires a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to Celebree's mission of protecting, educating, and nurturing children.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Celebree's curriculum and state standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes exploration and discovery. Observe and assess children's development and maintain accurate progress records. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians about their child's progress and classroom activities. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Support social-emotional learning and promote positive behavior through guidance and modeling. Maintain a clean and organized classroom and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to meet the needs of each child. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred). Prior experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
