We are looking for a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. The teacher will execute the provided pre-curriculum intergrading hands on learning opportunities. The pre-k teacher will: •Adhere to the school policies around behavior expectations, with rewards and consequences. •Work effectively and professionally with all school team members. •Implement small group instruction as required. •Align all teaching to our standards-based curriculum. •Inform all instructional decisions with data as a classroom-planning tool. •Work with MSCS staff to ensure all compliance is meet in the classroom. Lead and support 2 teacher assitants in the classroom. •Participate in high frequency coaching. •Follow all professional norms. •Do whatever it takes to achieve the mission of Aurora Collegiate Academy.

Qualifications

Required: CPR/First Aid Certification (can be secured after hire but before start date) Must also have 1 of the following: An associates degree An undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Development A state issued teaching license for Pre-K A  CDA Certificate. Note this can be obtained within 6 months of employment A willingness to complete all duties and responsibilities to the fullest. A belief that all students can succeed in college and a desire to lead students to that outcome.
