Minimum 1+ years Adaptive PE Teacher experience required. We are seeking a dedicated Physical Health Disabilities (PHD) Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support for students with physical health disabilities, from early childhood through age 22. This part-time role offers flexibility in scheduling within the school week and focuses on meeting the unique needs of students with physical health challenges.
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with physical health disabilities
Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to each students abilities and health needs
Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student learning and well-being
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education for students with physical health disabilities
Qualifications: Valid teaching certification/license in Physical Health Disabilities (PHD)
Knowledge of and experience working with students who have physical health disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work flexibly within the school week schedule
