We are seeking applicants for a physical education teacher during the 2025 - 2026 school year. This teacher will teach a movement or physical education class. As an arts integrated school, we are seeking a PE and/or movement teacher who can help support teachers in integrating movement throughout the curriculum, while supporting students classroom learning through physical education. Additionally, we are seeking an individual who can coordinate current partnerships and continue to grow new partnerships and facilitate extra curricular programming for students (sports teams, etc).
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Plan and deliver differentiated PE/movement instruction in whole classroom settings, as well as in small groups, based on continual student assessment and specific students needs Collaborate with the AFIA teachers and staff as well as community partners to integrate movement across the curriculum Participate in continual, intensive job-embedded professional development Collaborate in the professional learning environment of the school, with students, families and the community Engage in powerful, productive partnerships with families and students to ensure that instruction meets the needs of all students

Preferred Qualifications has current Missouri certification or is eligible for MO certification (PE or other related area) Bachelor's degree
Start Date: Aug, 2025 with possible professional development at the end of July
