Responsibilities:
Identify students in need of Adaptive Physical Education services
Evaluate motor and physical development abilities as part of an evaluation team
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with special education and physical education teachers to create suitable programs
Provide instruction tailored to the individual needs of students
Adapt regular physical education programs for Adaptive P.E. students
Offer in-service training for school personnel and community members
Maintain ongoing communication with educators and administrative staff
Attend and participate in IEP meetings and other required functions
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Coordinator of Special Education
