Secondary Special Education Teacher at Pleasant Grove High School, Texarkana, Texas. Starting date: July 29, 2025.

Job Description This role involves providing students with appropriate learning activities in the assigned subject area to foster their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with staff and parents to support student success. The position requires adherence to district policies, effective communication, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred).

Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level.

Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area.

Additional Requirements

Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
