A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive services in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Poughkeepsie, NY, and requires availability for the school calendar year (CSY). The role supports students across Hyde Park Education Center, delivering vital speech and language services that promote effective communication and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and hearing assessments for K-12 students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Provide direct therapy services, including 9-10 sessions daily (each session lasting 30 minutes). Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and healthcare standards. Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required. Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology preferred. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or active CFY status. Previous experience working within school settings with K-12 populations. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Location & Schedule: Position based in Poughkeepsie, NY. Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week.
