Position Type: Part-Time (Hourly)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM (4.25 hours/day)
Compensation: $40/hour

Detroit Christian School of Excellence is seeking two passionate and dedicated Intervention Teachers to join our team! These part-time positions are ideal for experienced educators who are committed to helping students reach their full academic potential through targeted instruction and individualized support.

• Provide academic intervention and support for students in need

• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions

• Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment

Educational Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Education

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education

• Meets “Highly Qualified Teacher” requirements under federal and state guidelines
