The Partner - Acquisitions will lead the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of new investment opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep market knowledge, strong financial acumen, and a network of industry relationships. Key Responsibilities Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with the firm's investment criteria. Lead financial modeling, market analysis, and due diligence processes. Develop and maintain broker, owner, and industry relationships to source off-market deals. Prepare investment memoranda and present opportunities to the executive team. Negotiate purchase agreements and coordinate closing processes. Collaborate with asset management and legal teams to ensure smooth transitions post-acquisition. Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights to guide investment decisions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, preferably in multifamily, self-storage, or commercial assets. Proven track record of closing complex transactions. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. Familiarity with Virginia and Southeast U.S. markets is a plus.
