We are offering employment opportunities to those looking to work with children ages 16 months through 14 years old. We currently have 2 campuses, in Newport News and Hampton and are expanding the number of classrooms. We are offering immediate and continuous employment for afternoons from 12:00-5:30pm Monday through Friday.

Duties

Assistants to work with students ages 16 months through middle school daily from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm Caring for and assisting with the education of children Ensuring the environment is prepared and safe Working with the lead teacher to create an effective learning environment for students Other duties depending on the specific level of the children served by the position

Requirements

Position requirements include:

Ability to pass all state and federal background checks First Aid and CPR certification before beginning employment Minimum of a high school diploma Experience working with children High level of integrity and commitment High level of reliability and work ethic
