Position Details:
- Role: Teacher for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing
- Schedule: 34 days per week
- Student Load: Teacher of Record for 11 students, Teacher of Service for 6 (Total: 16 students)
- Location: Greenwood, IN
- Pay: $50$55/hour (based on experience and credentials)
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Valid state teaching certificate
- Proficiency in ASL and use of amplification devices
- Experience with deaf and hard-of-hearing students (preferred)
- ASL proficiency exam or certification (may be required)
- CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
