Part-Time Music Teacher Opportunity

The Goddard School of Plainfield-Shorewood is seeking a part-time Music Teacher to join our team. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. As a Music Teacher, you will collaborate with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement an engaging music lesson/experience for Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students. This pivotal role includes classroom support, curriculum enhancement and adapting dynamically to meet the evolving educational needs of our school community.

Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance music plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers
• Provide flexible classroom support for a seamless educational experience
• Organize engaging music materials
• Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate transparently with Lead Teachers children's progress and achievements
• Maintain clean and inviting classrooms adhering to health and safety standards
• Promote a nurturing learning environment

Qualifications:

• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
• Experience with music and creating lessons
