Music Teacher (Instrumental) LONG-TERM SUB

Overview:

The Lancaster Central School District is searching for an enthusiastic individual to serve our District in the music department. We are looking for a 4th, 5th and 6th grade orchestra teacher long-term sub. We are interested in a candidate that is dedicated and willing to commit wholeheartedly to working with our young musicians. We are seeking an outstanding, innovative teacher who will work collaboratively with our administration, faculty and music staff and someone who will be an integral part of our instrumental music team. We need an individual that will continue the high standards and success of our award-winning music program and to help us grow the vision shared by everyone in Lancaster...one of the top communities in America for Music Education.

Tentative Assignment Dates: • August 26, 2025 - January 23, 2026

Note: The substitute will be an interim substitute and will be compensated according to the LCTA agreement, as applicable (e.g., Step 1 Master's Degree = $55,300 prorated to Step 8 Master's = $58,750 prorated, with full benefits)
