Position: Music Teacher (K-5)

Required Qualifications: Must have a valid Professional Educator License from Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License must be registered in Region 07. Must have a music endorsement Responsibilities include: Ability to structure a classroom to maximize student learning Must possess effective behavior management skills Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning Organize and maintain a system of accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities-achievement and attendance Must possess effective communication skills with a variety of stakeholders Perform other related tasks as assigned by the principal Must possess effective communication skills with a variety of stakeholders
