Purpose The Fine Arts Teacher is an educator who has demonstrated a love for teaching Fine Arts disciplines and is familiar with the rewards and challenges of working with students. Fine Arts Teachers must be able to teach a range of art courses in their content-area of expertise to students in various grade levels. The Position The Elementary Music Teacher would be primarily responsible for teaching general music classes to students in grades 2-5. The position may include working with older students as well, depending upon the candidates background and experience and the school's needs. In addition to teaching general music classes, the Music Teacher would: Direct or accompany elementary, middle and high school choirs as needed Prepare vocal students for district, state and national competitions Support the elementary, middle and high school musical directors as needed The Essential Job Functions We are looking for an educator who has demonstrated a love for teaching and is familiar with the rewards and challenges of working with younger students.
