Job description: -Montessori certified or willing to complete Montessori training provided by the district. -Licensed to teach in North Carolina, with experience as a lead teacher. -Passionate educator with a collaborative spirit and a growth mindset. Title: Montessori Teacher -Lead a multi age Montessori classroom providing regular, explicit instruction for every child at the Primary, Lower Elementary or Upper Elementary Level. -Plan and deliver Montessori lessons to students. -Analyze student data to inform instruction. -Collaborate with PLC members during planning/ data and business meetings. -Plan and chaperone field trips, this may include overnight experiences. -Provide consistent, respectful parent communication. -Maintain a neat, organized and essential prepared environment for students. -Lead daily class meetings incorporating social/ emotional lessons. -Practice record keeping to track student learning.
