Montessori Preschool Lead Teacher (2-3 Year Olds)

Location: Cabrillo Montessori, Santa Clara Hours: School Day (8:00 AM to 3:30 PM) or Full Day (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

What You Will Do:

Lead a classroom of 18 children with the support of two assistants, fostering collaboration and consistency Create and maintain a calm and engaging classroom that reflects authentic Montessori principles Comfortably support diapering and toilet learning as part of each child's natural development Observe and guide individual growth with patience, understanding, and kindness Build strong partnerships with families through clear and respectful communication Collaborate with assistants and fellow educators to create a cohesive and supportive school community Foster independence, respect, and a joyful love of learning in the children you guide What We Are Looking For: 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required Experience working with children ages 2 to 6, with familiarity with the 2 to 3 age group especially valued Experience leading a classroom and mentoring assistants preferred Montessori training or enthusiasm to deepen understanding of the Montessori method Comfortable supporting diapering and toilet learning Warm, collaborative, and organized teaching style Commitment to respect, inclusivity, and consistency in practice Why Join Us Join a well-established Montessori community with a strong and supportive team Opportunity to lead and shape a dynamic toddler classroom Professional development and growth opportunities Beautifully prepared classroom environments designed for success A school culture that values tradition, collaboration, and innovation Cabrillo Montessori, part of the Montessori School of Silicon Valley, has been serving the Santa Clara community since 2016.
