DESCRIPTION The Middle School Math/Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in both mathematics and science. The teacher will create a stimulating learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and enthusiasm for STEM subjects.
QUALIFICATIONS Possess a valid Michigan teaching certificate, with appropriate certification. Competency in content area Knowledge of effective instruction and best practices Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents, and staff Strong communication, technology, and organizational skills Competency in student management and supervision
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum guidelines and educational standards. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other evaluation methods. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student learning and development. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.
