Job Posting: Onsite English Language Arts & Reading Special Education Teacher Location: South Dallas, TX Discipline: Special Education (SPED) Position Type: Full-time, 2025-2026 School Year Contract (8/7/25 - 5/22/26) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Caseload: Middle School Resource Subject: English Language Arts & Reading (ELAR) Number of Positions: 1 Pay Rate: $37 - $45 per hour About Soliant Education Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher with an ELAR endorsement (grades 6-8) to join a middle school team in South Dallas, TX for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an onsite position with a competitive pay rate and excellent benefits. Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction in English Language Arts & Reading to middle school students in a resource setting. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success. Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth. Requirements Valid Special Education (SPED) certification. ELAR endorsement for grades 6-8 required. Experience working with middle school students preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a caseload and deliver tailored instruction based on student needs.
