Job Title: Language Arts Teacher
School: Eastpointe Middle School, Grades 6-7

Eastpointe Middle School is a grade 6-7 school with an enrollment of about 350 students. We are team-oriented with a positive work environment. Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education with ELA Major, or beyond
State of Michigan Teaching Certification, grades 6-12 English (BA) or K-8 with ELA Major (BX) or in process
Organizational Skills
Successful Classroom teaching experience
Salary Data: per EFE Contract. Tentative agreement on a new salary schedule has been agreed to with the teacher association for 2025-26. 15 step schedule. Bachelor's lane: $49,350 - $80,483. Master's lane: $53,500 - $85,200, plus $3000 additional on each step for MA+30 or beyond.
