The Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative Middle School English Teacher to fill a vacancy in the district. The program is supported by a teaching team that works collaboratively to develop and implement curriculum.

Location: Whitle Lake Middle School

Salary: Per HVEA Contract

Reports To: Principal

Status: School Year 2025-2026

Start Date: 25/26 School Year

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be a certified to teach middle school English Language Arts ELA endorsement required ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To effectively provide materials and instruction to eligible students To effectively communicate with students, staff and families

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS: Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
