Since its founding in 1892 by the Dominican Sisters of Caldwell, the mission of Mount St. Dominic Academy has been to empower young women to know their dignity, pursue the truth, and live in charity. Mount St. Dominic Academy seeks a dynamic, faith-filled Math teacher to join a deeply committed and engaged faculty. We approach learning with both joy and rigor and are looking for a Math teacher who will do the same.

Every teacher at Mount St. Dominic Academy assumes responsibility for the leadership and management of the classes assigned; strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education; develops and implements a daily instructional program according to the needs of the students and the established curriculum; maintains accurate records of attendance and academic achievement; and establishes positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills: Personal commitment to the mission of Mount St. Dominic Academy

Bachelor’s degree in Math, Education, or relevant subject area

Strong knowledge of Geometry and Differential Equations

An understanding of and enthusiasm for Catholic education, values, and culture

An ability to communicate the order of Math as a reflection of the order and beauty of God

Must demonstrate personal self-discipline, be adaptable and flexible in routine and unexpected situations, and use good judgment in daily encounters
