Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications. MMI Preparatory School in Freeland, PA, seeks a long term substitute middle school math teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

*Duties* * Responsible for teaching 7th grade math and 8th grade pre-algebra. * Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a respectful and productive learning environment. * Communicate clearly with students, providing guidance and support as needed. * Engage students in various educational activities, including group work and individual assignments. * Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their academic goals. * Assist with administrative tasks such as taking attendance and reporting on student behavior. * Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom.

*Requirements* * Bachelors degree required. * Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents. * Familiarity with lesson planning and behavior management techniques. * Ability to tutor students in subjects such as math or other academic areas as needed. * A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in various classroom settings. * Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150.00 - $151.00 per day

Schedule: * Monday to Friday
