Responsibilities: • Design and deliver engaging and rigorous instruction in Biology and Chemistry. • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, cultural understanding, and active student participation. • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback. • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and create an inclusive classroom environment. • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, plan interdisciplinary projects, and promote cross-curricular connections. • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student achievement and well-being. • Participate in professional development opportunities and stay updated on current trends and best practices in science education. Current Long Term Substitute Teacher rate schedule: 1-20 Consecutive school days in a single assignment: $130/day 21+ Consecutive school days in a single assignment: $170/day
