Special Education: Licensed Staff Hiring licensed special education teachers to work at Extended School Year sites located at: New Hope Learning Center Forest Elementary Robbinsdale Cooper High School Robbinsdale Transition Center - Crystal Learning Center

Dates: Dates: July 7 - July 24, 2025

Essential Functions:  Plan and maintain a program of instruction that is conducive to the attainment of individual students' ESY goals and objectives on their IEP Develop schedules and coordinate the work of education assistants assigned to your Recovery Services caseload Provide ongoing communication to families on student progress during ESY Assist with busing and meals for students Apply appropriate strategies to educate students with special needs, in compliance with State and Federal regulations Develop and nurture the emotional cognitive and social abilities of the students Interact with students in a polite, caring, and respectful manner Respond to student misbehavior appropriately and successfully Demonstrate clear and accurate oral and written communication Engage students in learning Monitor student progress toward achievement of instructional goals and write end-of-ESY summary reports Maintain high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality of student information

Qualifications:   Must have a current Minnesota teaching license Able to attend work regularly and report to work on time Work cooperatively with staff, students, and parents

All positions have an additional 7 hours for planning/setup 1 hours teacher meeting in June 3 hours for setup/planning 3 hours progress summaries/packing
