Responsibilities: Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure a smooth and consistent learning experience for students. Manage the classroom effectively, encouraging participation, minimizing distractions, and maintaining a positive environment. Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students. Supervise students both in and out of the classroom, including hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias. Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the teacher’s plan. For long-term assignments: develop lesson plans in alignment with the regular teacher’s approach.
Requirements: Hold a Nevada State Substitute Teaching License. Minimum of 60 college credits. Pass a background check.
