Job Description:

St. Jerome Catholic School is accepting applications for a Learning Support Teacher. The teacher will build a learning support program that works with the faculty and administration of the school to:

● Support the needs of all learners in the classroom

● Coordinate auxiliary services such as those provided by CORA, Catapult, Elwyn, and other outside providers.

● Provide academic and behavioral support where needed.

● Communicate with parents and classroom teachers about learning and behavior challenges as well as the supports that could be available.

● Serve as a substitute teacher when needed (if building substitutes are already assigned).

● Other tasks as required by the program based on its design which will be agreed upon by the principal and learning support teacher.

A bachelor’s degree is required; PA state certification in special education is required.
