We are seeking a qualified and experienced Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC) to join our Child Study Team (CST) in Northern New Jersey . This is a part-time, contract position offering $75/hour .
Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC) Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations as part of the Child Study Team (CST) .
Interpret testing results and contribute to eligibility determinations .
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff, parents, and CST members.
Develop and write detailed, legally compliant evaluation reports and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) .
Recommend effective instructional strategies , accommodations, and modifications.
Provide consultation services to teachers and staff on special education practices and interventions .
Support and monitor the implementation of special education services and student progress.
Ensure compliance with New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) special education code and local district policies.
Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC) Requirements:
Valid New Jersey LDTC certification .
Experience working in schools or educational settings.
Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations .
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to write clear, professional, and compliant documentation.
