Position Summary: We're seeking a warm, dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to create a nurturing and vibrant learning environment for our toddlers (ages 2-3). As the primary classroom teacher, you'll foster early development through structured lessons, engaging activities, and meaningful family connections.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations (Texas Health and Human Services - Child Care Licensing) Implement Corporate based curriculum Provide loving, individualized care: diapering, mela times, nap routines, restroom assistance, and transitions. Observe and document children's progress; maintain portfolios/resumes and update parents regularly. Collaborate with assistants to ensure a safe, organized, inclusive classroom. Communicate frequently with families via in person check ins and secure digital updates. Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance. Support enrollment by participating in preschool tours and representing the center to prospective families.

Qualifications: CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred) Minimum 1 year of experience in a lead teaching role at a licensed childcare facility Strong knowledge of Texas childcare licensing regulations Food Handlers License (or ability to obtain upon hire) CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to foster a productive team environment, while positively engaging with children, staff, and families
