About the Role We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Guide (Teacher) to support a mixed-age classroom of toddlers in a Montessori setting. As a Montessori Lead Guide, you'll create a thoughtfully prepared environment that supports each child's independence, curiosity, and confidence. You'll provide personalized guidance through one-on-one and small group lessons, introducing children to hands-on materials and rich language to help them understand the world around them. Montessori classrooms give children the freedom to choose their work and follow their interests—building essential skills, self-esteem, and a deep love of learning. We're seeking a Lead Guide who is ready to bring their best and help every child reach their full potential. What You'll Do As a Toddler Lead Guide at Guidepost, you will: Carefully observe each child to meet their individual developmental needs
Prepare a beautiful, orderly space that encourages exploration, trust, and independence
Foster self-confidence by helping children "do it themselves"
Provide engaging lessons in practical life, language, and social-emotional development
Build respectful, nurturing relationships with children
Collaborate with families to provide the best care and support

We're Looking For Someone Who: Has experience working with children ages 0–3 in group care settings
Is eager to pursue (or already holds) a Montessori credential—we'll sponsor your training!
Is familiar with child-led approaches like Montessori or Reggio, or open to learning more
Holds a Bachelor's Degree (any field)
Has completed or is working toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development coursework
