*Position Summary: *We’re seeking a warm, dedicated *Lead Toddler Teacher* to create a nurturing and vibrant learning environment for our toddlers (ages 2–3). As the primary classroom teacher, you’ll foster early development through structured lessons, engaging activities, and meaningful family connections.

*Key Responsibilities:* * Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations (Texas Health and Human Services – Child Care Licensing) * Implement Corporate based curriculum * Provide loving, individualized care: diapering, mela times, nap routines, restroom assistance, and transitions. * Observe and document children’s progress; maintain portfolios/resumes and update parents regularly. * Collaborate with assistants to ensure a safe, organized, inclusive classroom. * Communicate frequently with families via in‑person check‑ins and secure digital updates. * Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance. * Support enrollment by participating in preschool tours and representing the center to prospective families.

*Qualifications:* * CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred) * Minimum 1 year of experience in a lead teaching role at a licensed childcare facility * Strong knowledge of Texas childcare licensing regulations * Food Handlers License (or ability to obtain upon hire) * CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) * Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills * Ability to foster a productive team environment, while positively engaging with children, staff, and families

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
