The Goddard School in Gambrills is looking for energetic and caring Infant/Toddler teachers to add to our infant/Young Toddler program, two's program.
Whats it like to be a teacher at our School?
Our loving teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of children, working as a lead teacher in partnership with a co-lead.
Together both teachers design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans. Teachers are responsible for keeping their classroom organized and clean and communicating with parents in person and in writing. Teachers are responsible for doing quarterly observations and monthly portfolios. The teacher will support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance while establishing positive and effective family relations. Teacher
Educational Qualifications (we will be happy to assist you with any missing trainings)
All candidates must have one or more of the following: 90 hours Certification in Early Childhood 45 hours Infant/Toddler Certification Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field ADA, Basic Health & Safety, SIDS & Breastfeeding certificates Proof of current and active enrollment in an accredited Associates or Bachelors degree All candidates must have the followings:
Own reliable transportation Experience working with young children; school setting is preferred Comfort with tablet technology for record keeping and communication Mastery of the English language, as spoken and written, to permit effective communication with parents, staff and management.
