Duties

As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, and guiding children’s development in social, emotional, and cognitive areas. You will also lead and support a team of associate and/or assistant teachers to ensure high-quality care and education.

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Assess children's developmental progress and maintain accurate records Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's experiences and milestones Mentor and supervise assistant teachers and classroom staff Maintain compliance with all licensing, safety, and educational guidelines

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
