About the Role:
We are seeking a Lead Teachers to join our team at our Ridge Road Location to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our young learners!
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with parents and other staff members, ensuring that all children receive the best possible care and education.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years experience working with children in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
* CPL III or Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate upon hire
* Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents

Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1+ years experience
* Current CPR and First Aid certification
* Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with the center's curriculum and meet the individual needs of each child.
* Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate regularly with parents about their child's development.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and attendance.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that the center's policies and procedures are followed.
Skills:
As a Lead Teacher, you will use your knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other staff members and parents, and your attention to detail to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and attendance. Additionally, your ability to work collaboratively with others and adapt to changing situations will be essential in ensuring that all children receive the best possible care and education.
