As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic foundation for lifelong learning, igniting joy, curiosity, and confidence in the hearts and minds of young learners. Role Responsibilities: Classroom Leadership: Plan and create a stimulating, welcoming environment where children thrive through play and learning. Curriculum Implementation: Bring our proprietary L.E.A.P. CurriculumĀ® to life, tailoring your methods to suit the diverse needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool-aged children. Safety First: Maintain a nurturing environment where children feel safe and can flourish. Family Communication: Keep parents informed about their child's progress, utilizing a blend of mobile apps and in-person discussions. Center Collaboration: Work cohesively with center staff and leadership to achieve retention, enrollment, and engagement targets. Relationship Builder: Foster warm and supportive relationships with families and colleagues, creating a seamless environment where learning and play go hand in hand. Qualifications: Educational Background: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role. High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience: Extensive experience in childcare settings, with a history of leadership roles and a strong passion for early childhood education. State Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role. Must fulfill state and federal requirements, including immunizations and health and safety training. Caregiving Skills: Ability to discern and address potential risks in a childcare environment. Ensure children's needs are met in areas such as diapering, grooming, and feeding. Model and promote effective communication and conflict-resolution skills. Keep children actively engaged in developmentally appropriate activities. Exhibit patience, professionalism, and composure at all times. Physical Resilience: Demonstrate the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds safely. Engage in bending, stretching, climbing, and crawling as needed. Maintain supervision through sight and sound. Be prepared to work outdoors in various temperatures.
