The Lead Preschool Teacher must hold a Montessori credential at the level they are applying for by MACTE/AMS/IMC. The teacher must be a flexible team member, and have previous experience. Salary is based on education and experience. • Be a positive team player. • Supporting the social emotional work and academic work in the classroom. • Leading small group activities with stories, movement, songs, etc. • Must be enthusiastic and feel at ease with young children. • Follow safety procedures and protocols while supervising children at all times. • Use positive discipline and techniques to help children gain self discipline. • Participate in parent teacher conferences and discussions along side lead teacher. • Help facilitate the school day for the children. • Must be soft spoken and flexible • Can attend and actively participate in professional developments. • Can communicate and interact regularly and appropriately with children, staff, and parents.
