We are looking for a dedicated Infant Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing environment that fosters infants' developmental milestones. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and skilled in caring for young children. They should have a strong understanding of best practices in early childhood education and age-appropriate teaching methods. This role requires the ability to engage infants, build trust, and create meaningful interactions that support their growth. The primary objective is to promote healthy mental and emotional development, ensuring a smooth transition to the next stage of their learning journey.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement a creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers. Utilize engaging educational techniques, including storytelling, interactive play, and multimedia activities. Observe and support each child's social and emotional development, fostering confidence and self-esteem. Encourage positive peer interactions and social skills development. Guide children through key developmental milestones with patience and care. Supervise daily routines to ensure a safe, nurturing environment at all times. Track and document each child's progress, sharing regular updates with parents. Maintain open and transparent communication with parents regarding their child's growth and needs. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning environment. Keep the classroom clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Infant/Toddler Teacher. Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best teaching practices. Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation standards. Excellent communication and instructional abilities. Strong conflict resolution skills for managing interactions between children. Calm, nurturing, and dependable personality. Creative problem-solving skills with a practical approach. Certification in Child CPR/First Aid. Completion of at least 12 Child Development units, including coursework in Infant and Toddler care.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday
