We are seeking a nurturing and dedicated Infant-Toddler Teacher to join our passionate team at our center located in the vibrant Discovery District of downtown Columbus, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and early childhood education to infants and toddlers during their most formative years. Responsibilities: - Create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment that supports the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers. - Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote exploration, discovery, and learning in all areas of development. - Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and families, maintaining open communication and partnership in each child's learning journey. - Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures, including diapering, feeding, and naptime routines, to ensure the well-being of each child in your care. - Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones, using assessments to inform individualized planning and goal-setting. - Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team environment, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices in early childhood education. - Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in the field of early childhood education. Qualifications: Associate's degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required . - Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting. - Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants and toddlers, including an understanding of attachment theory and responsive caregiving. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with children, parents, and colleagues. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and communications. - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
