About the Role

Our Kindergarten Teachers create vibrant, literacy-rich classrooms where early learners develop the tools to read, explore, express themselves, and thrive. You’ll foster a safe, nurturing environment rooted in structure, joy, and high expectations—where learning is hands-on, movement is encouraged, and scholars feel seen, celebrated, and supported.

Scope of Work

• Deliver daily, research-based instruction in foundational reading, writing, math, and social-emotional development

• Prioritize structured literacy instruction that supports phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, and comprehension

• Build routines that help young learners develop independence, self-regulation, and a love of learning

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners

• Implement classroom management strategies that are proactive, affirming, and consistent

• Maintain strong, ongoing communication with families to build partnerships for scholar success

• Collaborate with your grade-level team and instructional coaches to plan and grow

• Embrace and model a growth mindset—for yourself and your scholars

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

• Valid Arkansas teaching license (or eligibility to obtain one) in Early Childhood or K–6

• Knowledge of early literacy frameworks and child development best practices

• High energy, high warmth, and an unwavering belief in the brilliance of young learners

• Patience, creativity, and the ability to balance structure with joy
